Biography
Lorenzo Nicolás Mba Obama Nsang is the Deputy General Manager in charge of Human Resources at SONAGAS GE, with over nine years of experience in the hydrocarbon sector in Equatorial Guinea. His career is distinguished by solid and sustained professional progression, as well as his specialization in strategic talent management, labor relations, and organizational transformation.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a concentration in Legal Studies, from Strayer University (United States). This background has allowed him to integrate a modern business vision with a deep understanding of the legal and labor framework applicable to the energy sector.
Before joining SONAGAS GE, he spent much of his career at Atlantic Methanol Production Company (AMPCO), where he joined in 2015 as Plant Shutdown Administrative Coordinator. Thanks to his performance and leadership, he rose through the ranks to become Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), establishing himself as a strategic business partner in human capital matters.
