DONATION OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT (2011)
In August 2011, a batch of computers was donated to the Malabo Provincial Government with the aim of improving its administrative functions. The Holy Cathedral of Malabo and Siale Bileka School also received additional donations. These generous donations were aimed at improving the technological infrastructure of these organizations and ultimately improving their operations. The Malabo Provincial Government was able to streamline its administrative processes through the use of updated technology. The gifts to the church and school were aimed at providing access to technology that would benefit their academic and religious activities. This donation was a significant contribution to the development of the region and demonstrated the importance of supporting community organizations.
SOCIAL PROJECT WITH BG GROUP (2011)
BG Equatorial Guinea, the social investment and human resources training activities manager in Equatorial Guinea, is developing, with the support of SONAGAS GE, the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, a series of projects focused primarily on improving the health and healthcare sector in the country.
Among other actions, we will highlight the financing of the medical study (at doctoral level) carried out by the Castro Verde Laboratory on the prevention of intestinal parasitosis in patients with HIV/AIDS. Also the import and installation of 5 cold chambers to reinforce the cold chain system in the storage and distribution of vaccines in the different provincial capitals of the Republic. And the financing of the ProSalud Project (directed by Montrose International) that has achieved significant progress in the renovation of health centres, in the training of health workers and in the conduct of a baseline health survey, among other aspects.
