
At the 6th Forum of the African Petroleum Producers Organisation (APPO), Mr. Salomón Ngu Nve, Technical Manager of the company, presented the SONAGAS agenda, highlighting several projects in the African gas sector.
As regards its activities and projects, the development of the EBANO Project in block EG-27 and the EG Gas Mega Hub Project were mentioned as important. The latter aims to turn Equatorial Guinea into a regional gas processing centre; while in cross-border cooperation, projects such as the Nigerian Gas Pipeline and the Yoyo-Yolanda Project are being promoted, with bilateral agreements signed between the two countries.
Sonagas GE plans to develop new gas fields in collaboration with the Ministry of Hydrocarbons to increase production. It has established itself as a leader in gas production in Central Africa, promoting a favorable foreign investment policy.
The company reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable development of the gas sector in Equatorial Guinea and its cooperation with other APPO member countries.
