Inauguration tradex/loteg serra

The National Gas Company of Equatorial Guinea (SONAGAS GE) participated in the opening ceremony of the new Loteg/Tradex gas station, located in the town of Serra, thus reaffirming its commitment to promoting energy security and the country's economic development. The ceremony was presided over by the Minister Delegate for Hydrocarbons and Mining Development, His Excellency Mr. Domingo MBA, representing the Minister, who emphasized that this new station "marks a turning point in the economic development of this town."


The Minister Delegate emphasized that the Government, together with companies such as Loteg and Tradex, share the vision of investing in the modernization and expansion of the refined products distribution sector in Equatorial Guinea. During his speech, he congratulated His Excellency the President of the Republic and the companies involved in the project, and called for the extension of this type of infrastructure to other locations in the country. He also reiterated that one of the priority objectives of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mining Development is to guarantee national energy security, in line with the commitments of the

subregion of Central Africa.


Representing SONAGAS GE were the Deputy General Manager in charge of Marketing, Ms. Fátima Efua Enseiñ, as well as Ms. Belinda Sinforosa Otogo Meñeng, representing the Marketing Department, who accompanied the event on behalf of the institution. With this presence, SONAGAS GE reaffirms its active role as a national company committed to the economic and social development of Equatorial Guinea. The inauguration included a priestly blessing requesting the protection and proper functioning of the station, followed by a ribbon cutting and a guided tour of the facilities. The new gas station has a total area of 20,000 m², which integrates

administrative offices, customer service areas, vehicle maintenance areas, and modern facilities designed with future-oriented quality standards.


Among the authorities present were also the representative of the Mayor of Malabo, the General Director of Loteg, the General Director of Tradex, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in Equatorial Guinea, along with representatives of other institutions. The day concluded with speeches by the invited authorities, where they highlighted the importance of this new infrastructure for the daily lives of the citizens of Serra, emphasizing that it is not just a service station, but a commitment to improve mobility, boost the local economy and bring development opportunities closer to the population.
